Doubles and Singles National Championship
Leiria hosted the biggest national competition of the 2025/26 season
On 4 and 5 July 2026, the city of Leiria hosted the National Pickleball Championship, the competition that officially brought the 2025/26 season to a close and crowned Portugal’s national champions in the sport.
Organised by PTPICKLE – the Portuguese Pickleball Association – the event brought together athletes from across the country to compete for national titles in both singles and doubles, in a celebration of the growth, competitiveness and maturity that Portuguese pickleball has been achieving.

The National Championship featured the 18+ and 50+ categories, divided into the following disciplines:

Mixed Doubles
Over two days of intense competition, the country’s best players faced off in pursuit of the most prestigious title on the Portuguese competitive calendar.

More than just a competition, the National Championship marked a significant moment for the sport in Portugal.
