Registration
RAQT has made updates to the app that make tournament registration easier. It is now possible to register for the PTPICKLE Santarém Tournament via the website ( https://raqt.com/tournament/598).
However, if you experience any issues during registration, we recommend following these steps:
1- Log out of the app on your mobile phone.
2- Log in again using your mobile phone number as the username, not your email.
3- Update your Personal Information, namely Gender, Date of Birth, and Nationality.
4- Save the changes.
In case you still have issues, you can contact RAQT (support@raqt.com) or PTPICKLE.
Note: Registration in doubles categories will only be confirmed once both partners are registered and properly paired.

Men’s Doubles 18+ 3.5, Men’s Doubles 18+ 4.0+, Women’s Doubles 18+ 3.5, Women’s Doubles 18+ 4.0+, Men’s Singles 18+, Women’s Singles 18+, Men’s Singles 50+, Men’s Doubles 50+, Women’s Doubles 50+, Men’s Doubles 60+, Mixed Doubles 18+ 3.5, Mixed Doubles 18+ 4.0+, and Mixed Doubles 50+.
Competition Format
18+ Doubles Categories*
Begin with a group qualification stage for both 3.5 (Intermediate)** and 4.0+ (Advanced) levels.
The top 2 teams in each group advance to the elimination stage, while the bottom 2 move to a B Draw (consolation). In 12-team draws, the two best third-placed teams also advance.
If there are not enough teams (minimum 4), categories may be merged.
Singles: No consolation draw, Open category.
Group Stage Matches: 1 game to 15 points, win by 2.
Elimination Stage:
Round of 16 / Quarterfinals: 1 game to 15, win by 2
Semifinals: 1 game to 15, win by 2
Final: Best of 3 games to 11, win by 2
3rd/4th place: Best of 3 games to 11, win by 2
* Players under 18 may participate in 18+ categories from age 13 (as of 31-12-2026) with explicit guardian authorization. ** A player with a DUPR of 4.0 or higher can´t participate in the 3.5 (Intermediate) draw.
Veterans (Senior)
50+ and 60+ categories (Open)
Begin with a group qualification stage. Top 2 teams per group advance to elimination. Minimum of 3 matches. Men Doubles 60+ can´t participate on the 50+ draw. They are separate competitions and played at the same time.
No consolation draw.
Group Stage: 1 game to 15, win by 2
Elimination Stage:
Round of 16 / Quarterfinals: 1 game to 15, win by 2
Semifinals: 1 game to 15, win by 2
Final: Best of 3 games to 11, win by 2
3rd/4th place: Best of 3 games to 11, win by 2
Rules
Matches follow the USA Pickleball – 2026 Official Rulebook, Portuguese translation by the Global Pickleball Federation (GPF) – Portuguese 2025 Official Rulebook, including the list of approved paddles.
Points earned count toward the PPT Ranking.
Matches played also count for DUPR, and seeding is determined using the same rating system.
Cancellations
If the event is cancelled, registrations will be fully refunded.
Participant cancellations are accepted until 15-03-2026 (inclusive).
After registrations close, no refunds will be issued unless a substitute player is found until 17-03-2026.
If the cancellation occurs after this point, it will result in a forfeit loss, which will affect the player’s results in the competition bracket.
Image Rights
By registering, all players authorize the organization to capture and publish their image during the tournament through audio, photo, or video media.
